this is just something I needed to rant about, I’m a nerd so I’m angry that the things I love are now considered cool, it used to be something I was proud of because I felt I was the only one (as well as the rest of the nerd population) that was in on the secret of how fucking awesome games and nerd culture is. also I think your fashion is stupid!

1. okay, legend of zelda, I personally like the game, it was brilliant, I never completed any of them apart from ocarina of time but yes, great games, my favorite being wind waker due to a love of exploration (on the high sees and all that shit) but, legend of zelda is not something to fucking die for, there are better games, its a long running series that has allot of attention due to its protagonist being very lovable, but it is not the best fucking thing in the world as most hipsters seem to think, also allot have not even fucking played a zelda game from start to finish, hell I might even say they haven’t even fucking played it, its good but honestly I preferred metal gear solid, why the fuck doesn’t anyone hype about that, have you even fucking played metal gear solid 4, raiden is a fucking bad ass compared to link, he cuts off his fucking arm and stops a Goliath submarine from killing snake WITH 1 FUCKING ARM! I mean what the fuck, he is so fucking cool, link is just trying to get to his fucking bitch so he can get a bit of head, raiden is out there helping save the world and hes not even the main fucking character.

2. okay yeah pokemon is one of the best rpg games of all time, it is highly regarded as the most loved also. I personally fucking love pokemon, it is a great game, and Ive spent at least 100 hours of my life just doing online research about the crazy secrets behind the game, for instance rivals raticate being dead and cubone theory and lavender town syndrome, its all fucking awesome, but the amount of hype and bullshit I see from people that probably haven’t played it, or have played it but no other rpgs makes me so angry, yeah its a great fucking game and everything about it is awesome, but I don’t spend my fucking life worshiping it, I play the fucking game! maybe you should too, why don’t more people hype about final fantasy 7, that games has one of the best combat systems and story lines of any rpg to date, it was so fucking good for its time. hype about that shit! and this time there is a good story!

3. liking star wars does not make you any different or cooler than the rest of the population, every one and their mums has grown up loving star wars! it doesn’t make you cool, I know a few people that hype about star wars and have it on their blog but have never seen it, it makes me so angry that you take something that was a normal love for most people and make it sound like you are cool for loving it! 

4. you take everything from nerd culture and say its cool to like it, it makes me so fucking angry because I loved being a nerd, it made me so fucking happy, but now everything is fucking hipster and I have people calling me a hipster for loving something I have always loved, some of it not even making seance like apparently liking anime is hipster WHEN THE FUCK DID THAT HAPPEN.

anyways, i probably sound like a whinny little bitch but I needed to vent and I can’t really do it anywhere else.
